What makes YachtSurvey different from other survey firms?
The difference is in the instruments and in the background needed to interpret them. Connecting a diagnostic tool to the engine control unit and running compression and injector tests is uncommon in yacht survey reports in Turkey. Twenty-eight years in the Turkish Coast Guard and Navy, more than 350 inspections, and qualification as a marine mechanic and master instructor produce that difference.
Why it works this way
Six measuring methods go on board: engine diagnostics, thermal imaging, borescope, UV leak detection, sounding hammer and moisture meter. Each reads something the eye cannot, and the report states which finding came from which instrument.
