What does a survey report contain?
Vessel identification, the systems inspected, measured values (moisture, thickness, temperature, engine data), a photographic list of findings and their urgency grading. Each finding carries its location, its measured value and its photograph; repair items carry an estimated cost range. It runs to 40+ pages and is delivered the same day.
Why it works this way
The report carries records rather than assertions, and that structure is what makes it usable in a negotiation. The gap between "defective" and "this much to put right" is the whole value of the document.
