What does a yacht broker do?
A broker handles matching and process: listing, viewings, negotiation and the flow of paperwork. Technical assessment is not their job, and should not be.
Why it works this way
When both roles sit in one pair of hands, impartiality is lost. The healthy arrangement is a broker running the sale and an independent surveyor documenting the condition.
